Jenna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over a decade of experience helping individuals strengthen their mental and emotional well-being. Jenna began her journey as a therapist working with children in Head Start preschools across San Bernardino County. Now, she specializes in helping children of all abilities build emotional resilience, improve behavior, and navigate life’s challenges across San Bernardino and Los Angeles County.
Trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy and certified as a Play Therapy Professional, Jenna creates a safe, supportive space for children to express themselves, build confidence, and develop essential coping skills. Her therapeutic approach is designed to help children communicate and process emotions, even when they are non-verbal or struggling to engage.
As a parent of two children, Jenna understands firsthand the challenges of parenting and enjoys being humbled by her own parenting problem-solving. Jenna's biggest passion is empowering children to find their strengths and helping parents find their superpowers as well.

1-on-1 Parent Consultations
$100/Session | 50-minutes
Parent Consulting services aim to increase parenting confidence, comfort, and parent-child relationships. This is done by encouraging you to make significant behavior and lifestyle changes to incorporate new skills suggested by Jenna Hardy-Surina, LMFT, based on Jenna’s education and experience working with child development, attachment theories and research. These 1-on-1 consultations can happen as frequently as you need.
Parent Support Group
$40/Session | 50 minutes
Parent Support Group is a group format made up of parents who are needing support managing their child’s behavior. The support group is design to provide support to you and fellow group members. Please contact us to inquire for more information.
INSURANCE
The parent consulting provided does not include psychotherapy or any other health care service. Therefore, you will be unable to seek reimbursement from your health insurance company.
NO SURPRISE ACT NOTICE - YOUR RIGHT TO A “GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE”
You have the right to receive a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ explaining how much your medical care may cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance, a cost estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Your health care provider must give you a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ in writing for scheduled services within designated timeframes. You can also ask your health care provider for a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your ‘Good Faith Estimate’, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
