Don’t know what to do next to help your teen?
Teen years are full of ups and downs, but you never imagined it would be this hard to help your teen thrive.
At Head & Heart Family Therapy, we provide a safe, supportive space for teenagers and their families to navigate the emotional ups and downs of adolescence. Whether your teen is dealing with anxiety, depression, social stress, school pressure, identity issues, or just feeling overwhelmed, our counseling services are built to help them grow into resilient, emotionally healthy young adults.
4 Reasons Families choose teen Counseling at head & Heart
We listen — without judgment.
Teen years can be confusing, isolating, or overwhelming. As a part of their normal development, it is also natural for them to resist being told what to do. That’s why we have found success in creating an environment where your teen can be heard: no lectures, no stigma — just a safe, accepting space to explore feelings and find clarity.
We support teens in developmentally appropriate ways.
Our therapy process is designed to meet teens where they are at — developmentally. While the brain is still developing until age 25, teens process most of their information using the emotional part of their brain, while the rational part of their brain is still under construction. That’s why we offer a combination between play/activity based therapies and talk therapy.
We partner with Parents.
Involving parents in the therapy process is often a vital component of a teen’s success in therapy. We work with parents to improve communication, understand adolescent development, and support healthy boundaries — building stronger family relationships.
We offer flexible support — online or in person.
Life is unpredictable. That’s why we offer online sessions in addition to in-office care, making mental health support accessible even with busy schedules.
Even though teen years are unpredictable

Hi, I’m Jenna.
Director/Lead therapist of Head & Heart Family Therapy
Here at Head & Heart, we’re proud to offer counseling for families who are navigating the transition into adolescence.
I firmly believe it's possible to have healthy and happy connections with your children, no matter how dramatic, crazy, or rare your family circumstance is. Using my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I’ve worked for almost a decade providing relation-based and play-based therapy services to the greater Inland Empire community.
Your next chapter doesn’t have to be spent navigating the challenging teen years alone. I partner with parents and families to help them understand and enjoy the rollercoaster ride of teenhood.
